That time of year again!
Last year company decided to centralise admin and my job, plus 3 others, was put at risk. Eventually Amy and I retained our jobs, although both roles changed, Jacky became a e2e tutor and Dave jumped ship and took over his cousin's window cleaning business.
This year the spotlight has fallen on e2e. Due to recent changes I am no longer under e2e so am not in the firing line but they are looking to loosing 2 tutors.
Why this has to be done at this time of year, I don't know. It hangs a cloud over both centres. Even those whose jobs are safe feel the unease.
TV is filling up with Christmas ads encouraging us to indulge ourselves, our family, our friends and even our homes. Why anyone would buy a new sofa just before Christmas is beyond me. Stick with the old one and if drink or food is split on it it doesn't matter, come the January sales you can order your sofa at some bargain price.
