This week my younger son celebrated his 13th birthday. Unfortunately today the rabbit he had for his fifth birthday died. I thought she looked unwell this morning as the carrots I gave her last night were only half eaten. When I came home I put her on to the grass and she seemed to colllapse, I went in to get water and my husband was in the kitchen. On returning to her she looked ill, then she twitched and died. I don't think I've ever had an animal die in front of me before. On Sunday she seemed happy and was eating well so whatever caused her death has been sudden. I just hope she didn't suffer. RIP Hoppy.
